14:30 King George VI Chase Tips

The Race is set to have seven runners and all the talk is about Kauto Star who won the King George last year and went on to win the Cheltenham Gold Cup. He will be hard to beat and showed he is back in form with a win in the Betfair Chase, his close rival will again be Exotic Dancer. However if you are after an outsider we tip Our Vic to cause a shock at 14/1.

12.45 – Polyfast 2pts win
A great afternoon of racing here, as always, on Boxing Day and hopefully we can get things off to a flyer to pay some of those Xmas expenses with Polyfast. He’s another lightly-raced French bred sort that trainer Nicky Henderson often does so well with and the word is he’s above average.

13:20 – Joe Lively 3pts win
Trainer Colin Tizzard looks to have a real star in the making in Joe Lively and although this is probably his toughest task to date the manner in which he galloped and jumped a decent field into the ground, last time out at Cheltenham, suggests he’s a horse to follow.

13:55 – Harchibald 3pts win
Not the most imaginative of selections but after the way Harchibald bounced back to winning ways in the Fighting Fifth hurdle at Newcastle recently suggests he’s going to be a real Champion Hurdle contender once more.
