Luis Felipe Laverde won the 6th stage of the Giro d’italia from Tivola to Spoleto.

T Mobile’s Pinotti took the overall lead in the tour of italy from Hubert Schwab. Danilo Di Luca is third.

Todays stage is 254km from Spoleto to Scarperia north of florence. It is the longest stage of the tour and could make a big way towards the
winner of the whole tour.
