Grand Slam of Darts Title Betting

The Grand Slam of Darts is run by BDO and was first played back in 2007. This tournament events plays from rival darts organisation the BDO ( British Darts Organisation).
The 2007 event was won by Phil Taylor he bear Andy Hamilton in the Final 18-11.
The 2008 event takes place from Saturday 15th November to Sunday 23rd Novemebr at Wolverhampton Civic Hall. The event is going to be shown on ITV.

After averaging over 110 in two of his matches last weekend, reigning Grand Slam of Darts champion, Phil Taylor, is Sky Bet’s red hot 4/7 favourite to retain his title when this year’s event gets underway at the Wolverhampton Civic on Saturday.

It is also another chance for Gary Anderson (10/1) and Mark Webster (25/1) to prove themselves against the major PDC players.

Last year’s runner-up Andy Hamilton is 50/1 to go one better this year, while the Russian women’s world champion, Anastasia Dobromyslova, is 1000/1 outsider.

2007 Grand Slam semi-finalist Kevin McDine (66/1) has an impressive record on the big stage and after a great run that saw him reach the semi-finals last year, is 10/11 to win his opening match against Wayne ‘Hawaii 501′ Mardle (4/5).
Sky Bet have cut wild card qualifier Colin McGarry’s odds of beating Mark Webster in his opener to 100/30 (from 5/1) following sustained support for McGarry to get the better of the BDO world champion.
