Paul Ince has been confirmed as their new manager of Blackburn Rovers. The Ex Manchester United and Inter player has done his football management apprenticeship at Macclesfield and Milton Keynes Dons, with the latter he won the Football League Trophy and won promotion into the Coca Cola League One. Throught the season he was linked to higher level clubs including Wigan, Derby Country and Norwich he decided to stay at Wimbledon till the end of the season, but he has decided the time is right to try his luck in the premiership with the Blackburn Hot Seat becoming available following Mark Hughes’s move to Manchester City. Paul Ince becomes the first black Englishman to manage in the English Premier League, his appointment. His appointment needed rubber stamping by the Premier League as he does not have the required Uefa Pro Licence, but he has be given two years to obtain this licence.
