Exotic Dancer: Second best staying chaser in training and closed gap further on Kauto Star in Betfair Chase last time. However this sharp track does not play to his strengths and stable not firing on all cylinders.
Hi Cloy: Useful two mile chaser in Ireland. Not sure to stay trip here and not good enough even if he does.
Kauto Star: Won this last year and stripped fitter for reappearance when fending off Exotic Dancer at Haydock last time. Clear pick on form and will win with a clear round but makes little betting appeal at shade of odds-on.
My Way De Solzen: Versatile sort who coped with drop back in trip to win last season’s Arkle. This race has long been his target but was readily brushed aside by Kauto Star and Exotic Dancer at Haydock and needs to make huge leap forward here.
Our Vic: Enigmatic sort but goes well fresh and only has a neck to find with Taranis on Ryanair Chase form but twice the price. Stable flying and no surprise to see him go well.
Racing Demon: Third in this last year and track and trip play to his strengths. Has ten lengths to find with Kauto Star but should run his race.
Taranis: Won at Down Royal on reappearance and held in high regard. Ryanair Chase win reads well enough but prominent place in market down to hype.
Kauto Star can cement his reputation as one of the chasing greats by winning a second Stan James King George VI Chase at Kempton on Boxing Day.

King George VI Tips
Kauto Star should win with a clear round but it is easy to pick holes in the rest. There are worries over the course and stable form for Exotic Dancer, My Way De Solzen was below-par first time and the form isn’t in the book yet for Taranis.
