I was watching the football down the pub last week with the lads and got into a conversation about who were the best football managers of all time.

I reckon the list is definitive everyone thinks they know who is best, but I think most people don’t know what they are talking about they all think they are a football pundit!

Wouldn’t it be great to have the ultimate list to hand so there is no dispute.   I am willing to argue with anyone over my list.

Don’t even bother mentioning Bill Shankley,  Brain Clough  or Alf Ramsey they just would not cut the mustard in the modern game. If you think they are the best you are living in the past.

Sven-Göran Eriksson is the obvious number one winning national leagues in Italy, Sweden and Portugal and winning 40 and only losing 10 matches as england manager.
