McCAIN CLOSES IN ON FAVOURITE HILLARY IN RACE TO WHITE HOUSE

Barack Obama’s Presidential Race odds have been slashed by William Hill on the eve of Super Tuesday. ‘There has been a real surge of support for Barak Obama, with punters apparently convinced that he is now the candidate to beat in this particular contest, for which he is now a 2/1 chance and plunging four figure bets on him’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.’There is a huge betting interest in the contest and we anticipate that up to £10million will be gambled overall on the race to the White House.’

Hills cut Obama’s odds from 11/4 to 2/1 and he is now third favourite, but closing on fellow Democrat, Hillary Clinton, the current 6/4 favourite and 7/4 second favourite, Republican,John McCain.

Barack Obama is a 9/4 chance with Hills to emerge from Super Tuesday with more States than Hillary Clinton, who is 1/3 favourite to outdo Obama.
