Indian Grand Prix Preview 2012

Sebastian Vettel takes pole position heading into tomorrows Indian grand prix (9:30am) with team mate Mark Webber completing the front row for Red Bull.
Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button followed the Red Bull team closely finishing third and fourth respectively for LcLaren.
Hamilton was less than half a second off the pace of two time world champion Vettel around the Buddh International Circuit with Webber just four tenths off his team mate.
Vettel is in a fantastic position to repeat his podium place from the first grand prix in India last year as well as the chance to extend his lead in the championship to 240 points with closest challenger Fernando Alonso qualifying in fifth place.
Alonso finds himself only 6 points adrift of the defending world champion with three grand prix’s left after tomorrow subsequent to Vettel snatching the lead away from the Spaniard with three straight wins.
Force India driver Paul DiResta will be hoping to better his qualifying performance tomorrow as he ended qualifying in a disappointed 16th place well off the pace the Scotsman is used to this season.
If Vettel were to be victorious again tomorrow it may prove to be the breaking point in the championship for Alonso handing the German his third title.
